GED & Beyond
So it turns out that sitting in a classroom crammed with 40 students and navigating through jam-packed hallways is not your style. If graduating from a traditional high school is not for you, there is always the GED.
The GED Testing Program is jointly administered by three separate entities: by the GED Testing Service of the American Council on Education; by each participating state, provincial, or territorial government; and by each of the 3,400 Official GED Testing Centers that serve as the main point of contact for GED candidates in communities across North America and overseas.
